Cambiasso, D' Alessandro y Zanetti
Argentina coach Sergio Batista has released his first squad in charge of the Albiceleste ahead of the match against Spain, with good news for Javier Zanetti, Esteban Cambiasso and Andres D'Alessandro.

Batista coached the Seleccion to a 1-0 win over Ireland earlier this month, but the squad was picked by predecessor Diego Maradona. El Checho's first list brings new hope to Zanetti and Cambiasso, who were left out of El Diego's World Cup squad, as well as rewarding D'Alessandro for a string of impressive performances in the Copa Libertadores for Internacional.

The full list of called up players is:

Goalkeepers: Sergio Romero (AZ Alkmaar), Mariano Andujar (Catania), Agustin Marchesin (Lanus)

Defenders: Martin Demichelis (Bayern Munich), Walter Samuel (Inter), Nicolas Burdisso (Inter), Gabriel Heinze (Marseille), Pablo Zabaleta (Manchester City), Gabriel Milito (Barcelona), Javier Zanetti (Inter)

Midfielders: Javier Mascherano (Liverpool), Fernando Gago (Real Madrid), Ever Banega (Valencia), Angel Di Maria (Real Madrid), Esteban Cambiasso (Inter), Mario Bolatti (Fiorentina), Andres D'Alessandro (Internacional)

Forwards: Gonzalo Higuain (Real Madrid), Carlos Tevez (Manchester City), Sergio Aguero (Atletico Madrid), Lionel Messi (Barcelona), Diego Milito (Inter), Ezequiel Lavezzi (Napoli)
