Zlatan Ibrahimovic says that he has no need for an intimidating nickname because the quality of his play is enough to strike fear into the hearts of his opponents.
The Paris Saint-Germain striker, who was the top scorer in Ligue 1 last season, has been joined in France this summer by Edinson 'El Matador' Cavani and Radamel 'El Tigre' Falcao.
Ibrahimovic was asked why he has never accrued a similarly impressive moniker during his stellar career and he explained that he feels actions speak louder than words.
"Why don't I have a nickname? To be afraid of me, just watch me play!" the Swede is quoted as saying by Le Parisien.
The forward also responded to Mario Balotelli's claim that the comparisons are often drawn between the two forwards are a compliment for Ibrahimovic.
"It's good that Balotelli compares himself to me," the 31-year-old said. "Because I don't compare myself to him!"
Meanwhile, Ibrahimovic has yet to find the back of the net for PSG so far this season but he says that his sole focus is on helping the team win trophies.
"If I do not score a single goal this year but, in exchange, PSG win the Champions League, believe me, I would take this option no problem.
"We have a better team than last season. Great players have joined us. We will train hard, but there is a great opportunity to realise the dream we all have.
"We can do lots of beautiful things. What is certain is that we want to win everything and that Paris does not see only one trophy!"
PSG have picked up just five points from their opening three fixtures in Ligue 1, calling some to question new coach Laurent Blanc, but Ibrahimovic is in no doubt that things will pick up - and soon.
"My relationship with him is very good," the former Barcelona man stated. "He has a lot of pressure on him.
"But the coach, like everyone else, has dreams. On our start, I'm optimistic. We are only at the beginning, and things will get better and better."
Ibrahimovic arrived at the Parc des Prince last summer and promptly fired PSG to their first French title since 1994.
