The forward revels in the tactically fluid system that his coach employs and promises to remain focused on improving his game

Hulk has hailed Brazil boss Luiz Felipe Scolari's innovative attacking methods, saying that they have been of benefit to the team as a whole.

Whilst Scolari's job is already seen by some as under threat following an underwhelming run of results since his appointment last year, Hulk is a huge fan of the former Chelsea coach's fluid tactical approach.

“We’ve got total freedom to swap positions and it’s been working for us - and that’s not just Neymar and I, it applies to all the forward players," the Zenit striker told Fifa.com.

Hulk has yet to prove to many fans just what many believe he is capable of and while he would dearly like to get the supporters on his side, he says his primary goal is doing exactly what Scolari asks of him.

“My main concern is to do my job properly," he explinaed. "Just like I’ve been doing up to now. I’ll be trying to be as focused as possible and do what the coach asks me to.

"I won’t necessarily go into the game thinking about how I can win over the fans. However, if I were to win them over, the way I’d like to do it is like this: through my performances on the pitch, by giving it my best. And that’s what I intend to do."

Brazil kick off their Confederations Cup campaign against Japan in Brasilia on Saturday night.
