England's Fabio Capello Undecided On Whether To Take Manchester United's Wayne Rooney To Euro 2012: 'I Need To See How The Appeal Goes'

Fabio Capello has indicated he will wait until after hearing whether or not Wayne Rooney's three-game international ban has been reduced before deciding if he will take the striker to Euro 2012.
Rooney was sent off in England's final Euro 2012 qualifier against Montenegro for kicking out at Miodrag Dzudovic and stands to miss all of his country's group games.
Capello is hoping Uefa will reduce the ban to just two matches at an appeal review on Thursday and, until then, will not declare if he will include his talisman or not.
“I need to wait,” Capello told reporters. “I need to see how the appeal goes.
"The sentence, three games, was too much and I hope the appeal will help us reduce it. I hope he [Rooney] will be available for game three.”
If the ban is reduced to two matches, Rooney will miss England's opening Group D fixture against France and the following clash with Sweden.
But the Manchester United striker would be available for a potentially decisive game against host nation Ukraine on June 19.
