The 50-year-old has been linked with the Switzerland job when his contract expires next summer but he insists he is focused on the Biancocelesti

Lazio boss Vladimir Petkovic has shrugged off talk he could quit the club at the end of the season after his side's 2-0 win over Legia Warsaw.

Goals from Brayan Perea and Felipe Anderson secured the Biancoelesti's place in the next phase of the Europa League on Thursday with one round of group stage matches to play.

Petkovic - who has been linked as a possible replacement for Ottmar Hitzfeld as Switzerland coach when his contract expires next summer - insists he is fully focused on Lazio's fortunes this season as they prepare for a crunch Serie A clash with Napoil.

"The team showed character, joy and desire, and the ability to establish themselves on the road. All this is important," the 50-year-old told reporters after the win in Poland.

"I'm happy with this victory and I can say we will do everything to win the next game. I'm not advertising myself to anyone, I have a contract with Lazio until June and my heart and mind are focused on Lazio."
