TEAM NEWS: Adebayor & Defoe start for Tottenham against Inter
In the absence of suspended Gareth Bale, Andre Villas-Boas has selected the Togolese forward to partner the England striker in attack as they take to the field with a 3-0 lead
Andre Villas-Boas has named a strong starting XI as Tottenham look to preserve their 3-0 aggregate lead away to Inter.Gareth Bale's suspension after picking up a yellow card for diving in the home leg means that Emmanuel Adebayor comes into the attack, partnering Jermain Defoe in a front two.
Aaron Lennon and Benoit Assou-Ekotto also drop out of the side that ran out convincing winners at White Hart Lane, to be replaced by Jake Livermore and Kyle Naughton.
Meanwhile, Andrea Stramaccioni has brought in Fredy Guarin, Rodrigo Palacio and Jonathan for Ricardo Alvarez, Alvaro Pereira and Andrea Ranocchia, as his side take on the daunting task of overturning the deficit.
