Suarez: Liverpool want one thing and that is to win the Europa League
After progressing to the knockout stages, the Uruguayan states that the Merseyside club are hoping to win the competition, whilst he hopes to face old club Ajax in the process
Luis Suarez says that Liverpool are determined to win the Europa League this season.The Reds made it through to the last 32 of the competition after Jordan Henderson’s winner against Udinese on Thursday night meant Liverpool finished top of Group A and will face an unseeded team next.
After the game, the 25-year-old Suarez declared that Liverpool want to win the competition.
“We want one thing and that is to win the Europa League,” Suarez told reporters.

As for their next opponents, the former Ajax striker revealed he would like to face his old club after they finished third in their Champions’ League group, knocking Manchester City out of Europe in the pricess.
He added: “It would be nice, if we draw against Ajax. Ajax is a good team and a tough opponent. But it doesn't matter to me which opponent we have to play.”
The draw for the last 32 of the Europa League takes place on December 20 in Nyon.
