Harry Redknapp will not face disciplinary action over a clenched-fist celebration aimed towards Shamrock Rovers fans in Tottenham's 4-0 Europa League away win on Thursday.

The veteran manager was heckled all match in Dublin and celebrated with the gesture towards the home fans in the second-half.

Uefa said they were waiting to see if the incident was mentioned in the reports from either the referee or the Uefa delegate, but have now confirmed the Englishman will not face charges.

“We can inform you that nothing was mentioned in the official reports about this and Uefa has not opened any disciplinary proceedings at this match,” a spokesperson told the Press Association.

Despite winning the match, White Hart Lane will see no more European football this season as results did not go their way elsewhere in Group A.

The north London club needed PAOK Salonika to beat Rubin Kazan but the match ended 1-1.
