'We Are Not Going To Be In The Last 32 Of The Europa League' - Tottenham's Harry Redknapp Dejected After Shock 2-1 Defeat To PAOK
The loss leaves Spurs needing to win their final game in Group A against Shamrock Rovers, whilst also hoping the Greek side can see off Rubin Kazan to progress

Tottenham manager Harry Redknapp admits his side’s chances of qualifying for the last 32 of the Europa League are slim following their shock 2-1 defeat to Greek side PAOK.
The visitors took a 2-0 lead within the first 15 minutes, both times taking advantage of Spurs’ sloppy control of the some dismal defending.
However, before the half was up, Kostas Stafylidis was shown a straight red card for handling the ball on the goal-line during a Spurs attack, with Luka Modric converting the resulting penalty.
The hosts came out fighting after the break, but for all their efforts and a controversially ruled out goal, they could not level, leaving Redknapp bitterly disappointed and without hope of progressing to the knockout stages of the competition.
Tottenham need to beat Shamrock Rovers in their final game of the group stage, whilst also hoping PAOK can see off Rubin Kazan, who currently lie in second in Group A.
Redknapp told reporters: “I'm disappointed now because we are not going to be in the last 32.
“I just wanted to win tonight, but we have changed the team around so we can do well in the league and this is the chance you take.
“We had a back four who hadn't really played together, and for the first ten minutes it was like they didn't know each other.
“Two terrible goals, they started well, and it was difficult.”
Although, Redknapp does concede that with his side just one goal down and a man better off than their opponents, he did feel positive after the break.
He added: “At 2-1, I thought we would come back in the second half and win it, but we just couldn't break them down.”
