Valencia players Angel Dealbert and Ruben Baraja have acknowledged the difficulty they face in reaching the Europa League semi-finals after being drawn against Atletico Madrid in the quarter-finals.

Central defender Dealbert reckons the mattress makers are an unpredictable entity similar to last round opponents Werder Bremen and pose a serious threat.

"Atletico Madrid I know well, they're very unpredictable like Werder Bremen, with quality players. Furthermore, the two games we've played this season have been very difficult." he told Super Deporte.

"It will be a wide open contest. They have some very important players up front who can hurt us. So for the quarter-finals and the home match it will be very important to keep a clean sheet."

Veteran midfielder Baraja, who had a four year stint at the Vicente Calderon has stated that los Colchoneros pack a punch and will provide a tough test for his side.

"Atleti pack a punch. The tie will be a vibrant and beautiful game, a great duel. Atletico is a tough opponent, difficult, very resilient and can score goals, but let's see if we can overcome them," noted the 34-year-old.
