Atletico Madrid midfielder Jose Manuel Jurado has admitted he expects two tough matches against Valencia following today’s Europa League draw.

“At this point [of the competition] every opponent will be difficult,” he told Atletico's official website.

“We face a difficult tie against Valencia,” he continued. “The important thing is to keep winning games and advance to the final.”

Atleti qualified for the quarter-finals on the away goals rule after a 2-2 draw in Lisbon against Sporting last night but the 23-year-old went on to warn his team-mates they must not get caught up in the thrill of European competition.

“Far from thinking about whether it will be difficult to win against Valencia, we must take things one game at a time and focus on that. But it's important to get to the semi-finals, which is what we want."

Finally, the former Real Madrid man admitted Atleti’s hectic calendar was starting to catch up with the team.

“It’s true that we are playing a lot of games and are feeling the fatigue. We are human and it shows the effort we are putting in."
