Bisevac: Lyon will fight until the end
The Serbian defender believes the pressure is on his side's big-spending title rivals as the season enters the home straight
Olympique Lyonnais defender Milan Bisevac says his team will "fight until the end" with Ligue 1 leaders Paris Saint-Germain over the final 12 games of the season.
Lyon are currently in second place, three points behind PSG, and have scored seven goals in their last two league matches.
“The pressure is on PSG,” the 31-year-old Serbian told RMC Sport. “PSG are favourites but it is a 100 metre sprint and anything is possible.”
Bisevac has made 24 league appearances for les Gones this campaign and says he is focused on winning a trophy with the club after their defeat to Tottenham in the Europa League.
“I want to be a champion,” he said. “When you play for a big club like Lyon you want to win trophies every year."
Lyon’s next match is away to Stade Brestois on Sunday, as they bid to keep up the pressure on les Parisiens, who face Stade de Reims on Saturday.
