Radosevic signs for Napoli
31-Jan-2013 1:40:00 AM
The Croatian midfielder has completed his transfer from Hajduk Split to the Partenopei, subject to the securing of a work permit, his agent has confirmed
EXCLUSIVEBy Luke Matthews
Josip Radosevic has signed for Napoli for a fee in the region of €3 million, Goal.com can reveal.
The transfer of one of Hajduk Split's most highly rated young players, who has been with the club since the age of six, was confirmed by the player's agent and brother on Wednesday.
The defensive midfielder is only 18-years-old but has already been invited to join up with Igor Stimac's Croatia for their friendly with South Korea in February.
"Josip has signed [with Napoli], we now need to look for an apartment," Antonio Radosevic told Goal.com.
"He will fly to Croatia tomorrow to settle details for his work permit."
Radosevic's style has been compared with that of combative former AC Milan star and Italy World Cup winner Gennaro Gattuso.
