Barcelona reject AC Milan approach for Alexis Sanchez
The Rossoneri have seen a move to sign the Chile international on a one-year loan deal rebuffed, while they are ready to offload Robinho if a good offer comes in
EXCLUSIVEBy Elia Raimondo
Barcelona have turned down an approach from AC Milan for versatile attacker Alexis Sanchez, Goal.com understands.
The Rossoneri are looking to reinforce their attack following the departure of Zlatan Ibrahimovic to Paris Saint-Germain, and were hoping to acquire Alexis on a one-year loan deal with an option to make the move permanent at the end of the season.
However, Barca have shot down Milan's advances as they see the 23-year-old as an integral part of their squad.
Alexis joined Barcelona from Udinese in the summer of 2011, and netted 12 goals in 25 Liga appearances in his first season at the Catalans.
Meanwhile, Goal.com has learned that Milan are ready to sell Robinho this summer if a good offer comes in.
Head coach Massimiliano Allegri does not see the former Manchester City forward as a key player, and an offer in the region of €9 million would be enough to lure the Brazil international away from the San Siro side.
Robinho has been linked with clubs such as Santos and Malaga in the past few months.
