The World Cup qualifier was due to take place at Windsor Park on Friday night but has now been moved forward to Saturday afternoon due to adverse weather conditions
The clash was due to take place at 1945 GMT on Friday but has been moved forward to 1500 GMT on Saturday after both country's Football Associations came to an agreement that the pitch was unplayable in its current state.
The Irish FA tweeted: "The game against Russia has been postponed by the match officials. After agreement between both FA's, the game will be played tomorrow, 3pm."
Northern Ireland are currently fourth in Group F, five points off qualification, with Israel in second place.
Fabio Capello's Russia side are top of the group by four points, meanwhile, having won all four of their games so far.
