South Korea captain Park Chu-Young says it's a pity he'll miss his team's 2014 World Cup qualifier against Lebanon on Tuesday due to suspension after picking up a yellow card in Friday's 2-0 win in UAE.

The Arsenal forward was booked on 73 minutes of Friday's game before scoring the second goal in stoppage time to clinch the victory which sealed Korea's progress into the fourth round.

However, the booking means Park, who has scored eight goals in his past five international appearances, is unavailable for Tuesday's game in Beirut.

"It is such a big pity that I can only cheer for my team from the stand instead of playing on the pitch," Park told reporters.

"Previously I focussed much on playing while paying less attention to fouls. The lessons must be learned."

Park's suspension could be a major issue for Korea, with fellow frontman Ji Dong-Won in poor condition having been substituted at the break against UAE.
