The Blues took the lead through Fernando Torres but Ribery's second-half strike saw the game head into extra time, where Eden Hazard's goal looked to have sealed the win for Jose Mourinho's side.

The Frenchman said: "We fought until the last minute. It's a well-deserved success for Bayern. The victory is also important for Pep.
"I have a super relationship with Guardiola. It was an extraordinary moment when I rushed over to him [after scoring].
