The wing-back has returned to the Bundesliga champions after a six-month loan spell and feels ready to make an impact at FCBMitchell Weiser is determined to take his chance under Pep Guardiola as he targets regular first team football at Bayern Munich in the 2013-14 campaign.
The 19-year-old joined Bayern from Koln in the summer of 2012 and was farmed out on loan to Kaiserslautern in the second half of last season in order to gain experience.
"Nothing has changed about my ambitions. I want to take my chance under Pep Guardiola," Weiser was quoted as saying by Bild.
"My time at Kaiserslautern was very important. I got the chance to measure myself against real men.
"The duels and fights for the ball were often more important than the performance. It has helped me develop as a player."
Weiser scored twice in 13 league appearances for Kaiserslautern.
