Robben: International break will benefit Bayern
The Dutchman has voiced his opinion that the international games will help the FCB players stay fresh at this stage of the season
Arjen Robben believes the international break comes at the right moment for Bayern Munich as they approach the decisive stages of the 2012-13 campaign. The majority of the Bayern squad is currently away on international duty, and Robben believes the brief break will help keep the players fresh as they prepare for a number of crucial games.
"It will do the Bayern players a world of good to be away from the club for a few days and breathe some fresh air and be surrounded by other people for a change," Robben told reporters.
"We will pick up where we left off immediately after the break. We will have to pick things up and get back in the rhythm once we've all returned to the club on Wednesday.
"We have to reach the level again that's made us such a strong team this term. We will have to approach each game differently and have to be at out best."
Bayern take on Hamburg on March 30 in their first game after the international break.
