Ribery resumes individual training
The tricky winger is one step closer to making his comeback after successfully completing an individual practice session
Bayern Munich attacker Franck Ribery has resumed individual training again on Sunday after a brief spell on the sidelines due to an ankle problem. The France international sustained the knock in Bayern's 3-2 win over Dusseldorf on March 9, and consequently missed the Champions League 2-0 defeat to Arsenal and this weekend's Bundesliga 2-1 victory over Bayer Leverkusen.
Nevertheless, Ribery is now one step closer to making his comeback after completing an individual training session with Andreas Kornmayer without any noteworthy problems.
France coach Didier Deschamps already stated at the weekend that he expects Ribery to be fully recovered in time for the World Cup qualifiers against Georgia on Friday and Spain four days later.
Ribery has been a key figure for Bayern Munich this term, scoring seven goals in 30 appearances in all competitions.
