The Dortmund coach has praised the opposition ahead of his side's Bundesliga clash with the club on Sunday, and admitted goals are likely to be scoredDortmund coach Jurgen Klopp has heaped praise on Hannover 96 ahead of his side's encounter on Sunday, urging his team to seize the initiative in the key fixture.
Mirko Slomka's charges came from behind to beat Levante 2-1 in their midweek Europa League encounter with Levante, despite playing out most of the fixture with 10 men following Karim Haggui's early dismissal.
Klopp insists his upcoming opponents' performance was not a one-off however, citing their cohesion as the main reason for their strong start to the season.
"Hannover impressed me, even before [the game against Levante]," the German told Dortmund's official website.
"I could not see that they had [one less player] on the field. That is a true mark of quality. They have a clear of the game, good mentality, and a great counter-attack."
Games between Dortmund and Hannover are traditionally high-scoring encounters, with no fewer than two goals scored every time the sides have met. Last season saw Hannover claim a comeback win against die Borussen, who responded by embarking on a 31-match unbeaten run.
He added: "[That game] was one of the few defeats that actually really helped us.
"[On Sunday], we must be willing to lead all our games, not just because of our place in table."
Sunday's fixture is scheduled to kick off at 17:30 CET.
