thumbnail Hello,

The experienced coach is looking to shake off the memories of their Champions League loss in Saturday's home game against Hoffenheim

Bayern Munich coach Jupp Heynckes has demanded a response from his team in Saturday's Bundesliga match against Hoffenheim after their shock defeat against BATE Borisov in midweek.

The German giants were surprisingly beaten 3-1 by the Borisov side in Tuesday's Champions League encounter, and Heynckes is determined to put it behind them.

"We need to get back to winning ways and replicate the things that made us strong," Heynckes stated at a press conference.

"My players know what was lacking against BATE. We have to improve our pressing game and switching between defence and attack. I'm confident the team will do just that.

"Hoffenheim have recovered their confidence and poise, they get the ball forward very quickly from defence, and on top of all that, they have some very good players."

Saturday's meeting kicks off at 15:30CET.
