The semi-final draw for the 2011-12 DFB-Pokal has been announced, with Borussia Monchengladbach against Bayern Munich arguably the pick of the ties.
The other match sees German champions Borussia Dortmund given a considerably easier test against 2. Bundesliga side Greuther Furth away from home.
Gladbach, who will have home advantage, currently have the upper hand against Bayern, after having already beat their Bavarian counterparts twice in the Bundesliga this season.
Meanwhile for Dortmund, they will visit Greuther, who have been the surprise package of the competition so far, following their claim of impressive scalps such as Nurnberg and Hoffenheim.
The matches will be played out on March 20 and 21, with the final taking place on May 12 at the Olympic Stadium in Berlin.
