The striker praised a sterling defensive effort from their rivals on Wednesday evening, while remaining confident that it was not too late to turn around Argentina's Copa fortunes
The Manchester City striker had few chances to make the difference as Argentina drew 0-0 with Colombia in Santa Fe, marking another match where the much-vaunted attacking trio of he, Lionel Messi and Ezequel Lavezzi failed to shine.
Tevez chose to praise the defensive effort of their rivals, stating that they were marshalled well throughout the game.
"They didn't let us play, and they knew exactly how to stop us," Tevez told reporters leaving the Santa Fe pitch.
"It is always difficult to win a game, but we will bounce back."
Argentina will now need a positive result against Costa Rica to avoid an ignominious exit at the group stages, but Tevez was certain his team had the quality to come back from the brink.
"We knew that all our games were going to be like this, but we have it in us to turn it around," he concluded.
