"What I would like to promise the Salgaocar fans and the Indian Football fans is that we will put on a good show and hopefully we will pick up some points," he said.
The Moroccan remained positive after his team's training session while he admitted that it won't be an easy task against the Jordanian side.
"I was satisfied with the training session on Monday and I am hopeful that our players will continue with the same momentum in the match," he stated.
"It will be a challenge to play a strong team like Al Wehdat and especially in a stadium full of passionate fans. However, I am optimistic that my players will overcome all the obstacles."
Salgaocar SC lost their opener against Al Arouba before registering their first point when they held Neftchi in the 2-2 draw in Goa.
At the other end, the home side's coach Branko Smiljanic rued about the drop in the levels of performance.
"The team is going through a bad period due to the defeat that we had in the local league last Friday and this affects the players and their performances. We will try our best to work on the psychological side and raise their spirits," said Smiljanic.
The Serbian however did not underestimate their rivals from India while hoping to increase his side's chances of getting past the group stage.
"The match will not be easy and we respect our opponents. We must win at home in front of our fans to increase our chances of going through to the next stage," he stated.
“I have seen two of Salgaocar’s games. They work very hard with professional players and a professional coach. They drew against Neftchi at home and their loss in the away match against Al Arouba was bad luck. They conceded a goal as there was no cover for the save of the goalkeeper.”
“Salgaocar FC is very organized and they know what they want. They want to make progress in Asia and so I foresee a good game.”
Jordan's Al Wehdat club has meanwhile promised free entry for its fans for the match at the King Abdullah International Stadium.
Salgaocar SC squad: Karanjit Singh, Vinay Singh, Luciano Sobrosa, Khelemba Meitei, Nicolau Colaco, Randeep Singh, Rahul Kumar, Biswajit Saha, Ishfaq Ahmed, Gilbert Olivera, Francis Fernandes, Rocus Lamare, Rino Anto, Milagres Gonsalves, Beevan D’Mello, Maxime Belouet, Ryuji Seuoka & Edeh Chidi.
