The Indian national team are all set to play an international friendly against Azerbaijan ahead of the Challenge Cup campaign which kicks-off next month in Nepal.
As part of their preparations, the Men in Blue are set to have a camp in Dubai starting February 15 wherein they are to face Oman on the 23rd in Muscat.
The match against Azerbaijan is scheduled for the 28th which will be the last friendly before the team embarks on their journey to Nepal hoping to win the competition which shall guarantee them a berth in the 2015 Asian Cup.
The two teams, namely Oman (90th) and Azerbaijan (111th), are ranked higher than India’s 158th in last month’s FIFA world rankings.
India are grouped alongside DPR Korea, Tajikistan and Philippines in the Challenge Cup which commences on March 8.
