Goal.com Player of the Day #18: Arjen Robben
Club: Bayern Munich
Achievement: Scored the opener in his side's 2-1 victory against Slovakia
Unable to be contained by the Slovakian defence, the Bayern Munich star displayed moments of brilliance, and took full advantage of the opportunities presented to him. His goal on 18 minutes was a trademark Robben goal, as he cut inside from the right before slotting home with a low shot after being set up by Wesley Sneijder.
He almost scored a second goal minutes after the interval when he again cut inside from the right. However, his left-footed shot was deflected wide by the Slovakian goalie this time around. Minutes later, Robben again showed a flash of brilliance to set up Joris Mathijsen after a superb individual action.
Congratulations to Arjen, Goal.com's 18th Player of the Day

Juan - Brazil
To cap a superb defensive display, his magnificent header set Brazil on their way. He was vital in the Selecao’s backline getting the better of the normally lively Chile attack.
Ramires - Brazil
A magnificent display as his tackling was spot on, but his drives from midfield were magnificent, not least when he tore Chile apart before teeing up Robinho for the third goal.
Wesley Sneijder - Netherlands
The fulcrum of the Dutch side and one of the outstanding players in the world over the last six months, the playmaker was again of vital importance to the Oranje. A wonderful raking pass picked out Robben for the opening goal. Always available, and scored the winning goal of the game with a cucumber cool finish.
