Singapore FA To Report Afghanistan Coach’s Comments On Referee Sukhbir Singh To AFC
The Singapore FA shall notify the comments made by the Afghan coach to the governing body of football in Asia...

The Football Association of Singapore (FAS) are to lodge an official complaint against the comments made by Afghanistan coach Yousef Kargar in the aftermath of the 4-0 defeat at the hands of the Indians in the SAFF Championship final where he accused Singaporean referee Sukhbir Singh of bias.
“The referee was partial to us. I don’t know whether he is a Sikh or a Hindu and hence he supported the team.
“We shall write to AFC on the incident as to how such a young and inexperienced referee is officiating the final. His judgment cost us the game,” said Kargar.
This was after Jeje Lalepekhlua was allegedly fouled inside the area by Faisal Safa wherein referee Sukhbir Singh from Singapore awarded the defending champions a penalty. Goalkeeper Hameedullah Yousufzari was given marching orders for having pushed the referee in protest of the above decision.
"We will be bringing up our concerns to the attention of the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) regarding the unfortunate comments reportedly made by Afghanistan officials towards Sukhbir that questioned his integrity and impartiality," a FAS spokesman was quoted saying.
Afghanistan had dominated the proceedings until the penalty being awarded following which India scored four in the final 20 minutes or so to defend their title successfully.
