India U-23: Four U-19 Players To Join The India U-23 Camp
Four more players have been summoned to the India U-23 camp...
Jeje Lalpekhlua, Lalrindrika Ralte, Gurpreet Singh Sandhu and Subodh Kumar shall join the India U-23 camp after returning from the India U-19 duty.
Jeje and Lalrindrinka scored an impressive five goals amongst them in the AFC U-19 qualifiers. Interestingly, Malsawmfela who scored four goals during the campaign failed to receive a call into the India U-23 team.
Sukhwnder Singh, who left JCT to lead the India U-23 in the coming tournaments, most importantly, the SAFF Cup, had a training session with the boys while the senior team members watched the video of the Nehru Cup triumph.
“We had our practice whereas the senior boys watched the Nehru Cup video,” informed Sukhwinder.
On being asked about his support staff and by when will they be assigned, the experienced coach stated that everything will be in place once the India U-19 team returns to the country.
"The U-19 team shall come and then Bob shall decide," said the former JCT coach.
