India Under-16 to go on an exposure trip to Netherlands

The All India Football Federation (AIFF) have arranged for a two-week exposure trip to Netherlands for the India Under-16 side. The team is expected to embark on the journey this weekend.

The Goutam Ghosh coached side will also get an opportunity to train at the famed Royal Netherlands Football Association’s (KNVB) Sports Centre at Zeist.

The India Colts will play against some of the best youth teams from Netherlands such as PSV Eindhoven, FC Twente, AZ Alkmaar and Excelsior Rotterdam amongst others.

India U-16 will also face Germany’s FC Schalke at the Gelsenkirchen on August 13th, 2014. On the 17th of this month, they shall also face Belgium’s KRC Genk which have produced stars such as Chelsea’s Thibaut Courtois, Wolfsburg’s Kevin de Bruyne and FC Porto’s Steven Defour.
