India have dropped six places to be demoted from the 148th to the 154th position in the latest edition of FIFA rankings for December, and have dropped three spots to feature in 31st place in the continent.

The Men in Blue picked up a 1-1 draw in a friendly against Philippines (133) on the 16th of November before following it up with a 2-0 win over Nepal (165) three days later. Wim Koevermans' side seemed to have benefited from playing friendlies on official FIFA dates last month but haven't featured on the international stage since.

Iran are the highest Asian ranked nation in the 33rd spot followed by Japan who stepped up a place to 47th and Korea Republic who remain in 54th.
