"The boys were a little carried away by the big names and it's true that they were not playing to their full potential." rued the coach. He felt the first half was undone by the lack of communication among the players.

Medeira acknowledged, "Fresh legs helped us in the second half and we performed much better. The positives that I can take is that the boys got to play against some of the big names."
He hopes that this experience will translate into a strong showing for the national team in the AFC Challenge Cup later this year.
He also took time out to praise the contribution of the man who all this was for, Bhaichung Bhutia, and considers him an inspirational role model for every footballer in India today.
"Bhaichung's commitment for the last 16 years stands out and it is one very important thing that every current footballer should learn and look to do the same." quipped the coach.
