Savio Medeira has named his 23 member squad for the much awaited ‘Bhaichung Bhutia testimonial match’ against Bayern Munich to be held on January 10 at Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium, Delhi.

The Indian coach has included new players in each position which is a welcome change from the usual lot. Anthony Pereira and Steven Dias, who had a disappointing showing at the SAFF Championship, have been dropped.

Youngsters such as CS Sabeeth, Reisangmi Vashum, Adil Khan and Gurjinder Singh have been summoned to the camp.

Felix D’Souza has been recalled after some impressive displays under the bar for Churchill Brothers this season.

Experienced members like Climax Lawrence and Samir Naik have been retained in the squad.

Having injured himself in the SAFF Championship finals, Sunil Chhetri is set to miss the much publicized affair next month.

However East Bengal’s Mehtab Hussain, Sanju Pradhan and Prayag United’s Lalkamal Bhowmick have once again been kept out.

GOALKEEPERS: Karanjit Singh (Salgaocar SC), Subhasish Roy Chowdhury (Dempo SC), Felix D'Souza (Churchill Brothers).

DEFENDERS: Jaspal Singh (Salgaocar), Sameer Naik (Dempo SC), Gouramangi Moirangthem (Churchill Brothers), Govin Singh (United Sikkim Football Club), Nirmal Chhetri (East Bengal), Syed Rahim Nabi (Mohun Bagan), Adil Khan (Sporting Clube de Goa), Gurjinder Singh (Pune FC).

MIDFIELDERS: Reisangmi Vashum (East Bengal), Jewel Raja Shaikh (Mohun Bagan), Climax Lawrence (Dempo SC), Rakesh Masih (Mohun Bagan), Baldeep Singh (Pune FC), Clifford Miranda (Dempo SC), Lalrindika Ralte (Churchill Brothers), Rocus Lamare (Salgaocar).
