Was horribly caught out of position for the Almeria goal as he came off his line to try and claim a corner kick, only to see Trujillo's header fly past him. Didn't have too much to deal with thereafter but his performance will be remembered by his bad mistake.
Didn't have too much to deal with defensively and when balls were crossed into the box they were dealt with comfortably. Clinched the win and eased the tension in the stadium with the third goal as he drifted in to score at the back post.
Got up and down the right-hand side all night and gave Dubarbier a torrid time with his overlapping runs. Delivery wasn't up to his usual best though and he did squander some opportunities from great positions inside the box.
Hit the byline a few times and got some decent service into the box, but it didn't really happen often enough, and he seemed less inclined to move ahead on the overlap as times went on. Showed composure when in possession at the back.
Dictated proceedings from his central position and kept the play ticking over with his short passes to team-mates. Didn't pick out as many diagonal passes as usual but added the cherry on top of the victory with a superb strike from the edge of the box to make it 4-1.
Showcased an impressive locker of passes as he continually floated superb diagonal passes out to Neymar and Alexis Sanchez. Was always on the front foot in the tackle and didn't allow the Almeria attackers any time to turn.
Failed to keep an eye on Trujillo and allowed him total freedom to score a stationary header from just outside the six yard box. Seemed content to sit deeper than usual but did have a hand in the opening goal as his initial strike was saved by Esteban.
Went about his business in front of the Almeria defence and had total freedom to spread the play from his pivot position as he didn't have a playmaker to contend with in the hole. Didn't light up Camp Nou, but was calm and composed in possession as always.
Was gifted plenty of space down that left-hand side. Did display his electric pace down the wing but probably didn't take total advantage as his decision-making in the final third wasn't great.
Opened the scoring nine minutes in when he displayed his predatory instincts to latch on to the rebound from Fabregas' strike to slot home. Continually got the better of Dubarbier with his pace and dribbling skills and linked up extremely well with his team-mates.
Looked particularly sharp in the opening 20 minutes and got on the scoresheet with a wonderful free kick that flew into the top corner past Esteban. Always came deep to receive possession and nearly got a second when he headed off the bar.
Kept the score lower than it could have been as he beat shots away from quite a few different angles. Had no chance with any of the Barcelona goals and frustrated them for long periods.
Was caught out more than once as he attempted to drift out of position to make interceptions at the feet of Messi, only to be easily turned. Did manage to get his head on quite a few crosses into the box, though.
Was caught out of position more than once as he allowed Neymar the freedom of Camp Nou to collect possession and make runs towards goal. Was left for dead by the Brazilian on more than one occasion.
Was caught sleeping at the back post and allowed Alexis to drift in unopposed for the opening goal.
Proved to be a danger from set-pieces all evening and clawed a goal back for his side in the first half with a free header from a corner. Was dominant in the air at the back too and kept Messi at bay through solid tackling at the back.
Retreated into a midfield three as Almeris attempted to match the Barca midfield trio, but looked out-of-sorts in his defensive duties and made a number of poorly-timed challenges, including a foul on Messi which earned him a yellow card.
Was employed in front of the Almeria defence and did manage to screen it well with a few decent interceptions. However, he was wasteful on the rare occasions he saw possession and put pressure on his team-mates through misplaced passes.
Got the better of Dani Alves a few times and forced the Brazilian into getting a yellow when he beat him for pace and strength with a run towards the box, only to be fouled. Didn't track back enough though, and allowed the Barca man to get beyond him on the overlap.
Set piece deliveries proved to be a threat and caused Barca problems at the back. Passing was neat but earned a booking for a cynical foul on Messi.
Attempted to stretch the Barcelona defence with his runs in behind but ended up being forced too deep to try and find some possession.
Stretched his legs down the right-hand side a few times and gave something for Barca to think about with his few penetrating runs. However, his final pass, shot, or cross never really came off.
