Nehru Cup: NS Manju Out Of Nehru Cup

Indian international left-back NS Manju has been ruled out for upto six weeks after suffering a hairline fracture on Wednesday.....

Manju suffered the injury during India's 1-0 defeat to Lebanon in the opening match of the Nehru Cup on Wednesday. He has now been ruled out of all footballing action for upto six weeks, meaning that the Mohun Bagan defender shall miss the rest of the Nehru Cup.

Manju suffered the injury in the second half of the match. The 22-year-old twisted his ankle and this led to the fracture.

The Indian international left-back shall now play no part in the Nehru Cup and is also slated to miss the IFA Shield and the first few matches of the Calcutta Premier League for his club Mohun Bagan.
