The 24th matchday in the Bundesliga saw Bayern Munich stride on with a 6-1 demolition of Wolfsburg, a 4-0 win for Schalke, a narrow victory for Borussia Dortmund over Freiburg and Bayer Leverkusen's winless run continue. Thomas Muller scored twice for the rampant Bayern, and though Arjen Robben was not the scoresheet, he put in a stellar showing. Martin Harnik found the net for Stuttgart in the draw against Braunschweig,  Alexander Madlung helped Eintrach Frankfurt  to a draw at Hamburg and Aaron Hunt put in a fine showing against Nurnberg.

Andre Hahn followed up his first appearance in the Germany set-up with a fine showing for Augsburg and Klaas-Jan Huntelaar delivered victory for Schalke with a brilliant hat-trick.
