Goal looks at the weekend's best players after another thrilling round of Serie A action
A blistering 10 days of Serie A action came to a head in a fun-filled round 11, making for an interesting selection for the Goal Team of the Week. Mattia Perin is handed our gloves for his display in Genoa's surprise 2-0 win away to Lazio, and he is joined by a real mix of talent from around the top flight.
The back three features two men who starred in Juventus' win over Parma, but they were on opposite sides. Andrea Barzagli helped the Bianconeri to a clean sheet, while Alessandro Lucarelli was a fallen hero for the Ducali as his exploits went unrewarded. Stevan Savic takes the last place in defence following his commanding performance in Fiorentina's 2-0 win at Milan.
One of the two goalscorers in that San Siro triumph was Borja Valero, who was a star throughout, as was substitute Giannis Fetfatzidis in Genoa's similar away win at Lazio. Romulo had a hand in both goals as Verona racked up their latest win against Cagliari, while Esteban Cambiasso put in a great captain's performance in Inter's convincing 3-0 win at Udinese.
Jose Callejon's superb start to life in Naples continued as he grabbed a goal in Napoli's 2-1 win over Catania, while Domenico Berardi was a hat-trick hero as Sassuolo beat Sampdoria 4-3 in Genoa. And Rodrigo Palacio's importance to Inter was once again underlined as the Argentine scored in the Nerazzurri's 3-0 win in Udine.
