The two goalkeepers of the evening put in contrasting performances in a match that the hosts won convincingly...
Welcome to Goal's new I-League feature: Top and Flop. For every game, a candidate will be put forward, as chosen by Goal, who deserves recognition for achieving something special. It won't necessarily be the best player in the league - but whoever we nominate will have done something amazing. In the same vein, we will also name a player whose performance wasn’t up to the mark on the given day and eventually came to hurt his side.

The Salgaocar FC goalkeeper pulled off a reflex finger-tip save to deny Mohammedan's Israil Gurung a goal in the 28th minute and thereafter blocked Penn Orji on the rebound to keep the score-line intact. Karanjit charged off his line to prevent Ajay Singh a shot on goal in the 86th minute and saved another of the latter's attempt in the next minute to ensure a clean sheet for his side.

Karanjit's counterpart had a baffling evening at the opposite end. Khara misjudged his dive when Darryl Duffy was played in by Clifton Dias for Salgaocar's first goal. He was beaten to the flight of a straight-forward cross which left rival striker Claude Gnakpa with an open goal at his mercy. The Mohammedan keeper was also caught off his line on a few occasions.
