EVERTON CONSIDER CUT-PRICE SINCLAIR
Everton are considering a cut-price deal for Manchester City flop Scott Sinclair, who has failed to make an impact at the Etihad Stadium this season.
Sinclair arrived from Swansea last summer in a £6 million [€6.9m] deal but has made just eight Premier League appearances for the club - six as a substitute - and was not even in the matchday squad for last weekend’s FA Cup win over Leeds.
The 23-year-old is settled in the north west, where he lives with actress girlfriend Helen Flanagan, and wants to stay in the area after being told he can leave City.
Everton considered a loan move for Sinclair in January and could revive their interest in a permanent transfer - although City will look to recoup as much of the £6m they paid as possible.
MAN CITY DEFENDER SET FOR MIDDLE EAST?
Manchester City defender Kolo Toure is eyeing a final pay day in the sun once his contract expires at the end of the season.
The 31-year-old Ivorian defender is keen on a lucrative move to the Middle East having turned down a switch to Saudi club Al Hilal last summer.
Toure wants a deal that will at least match his current €115,000-a-week salary, which appears to rule out a transfer to France despite interest from the likes of Montpellier and Monaco.
