Extra Time: Goal.com surpasses one million 'likes' on Facebook!

We are still lagging a tad behind Cristiano Ronaldo, but readers from around the world have helped our international edition's social media page reach the huge landmark
Over one million people are now fans of Goal.com on Facebook!
Readers of our international football site - from Africa to America, from Asia to Australia - have clicked the 'like' button on our Facebook page so that they can keep in touch with the major stories without even needing to leave the comfort of their social news feed.
Hitting the seven-digit number leaves us lagging a good 49 million behind global superstar Cristiano Ronaldo, but Extra Time takes some solace in the fact we are twice as popular as Rafael van der Vaart on the social networking site!
