Raju Gaekwad (Indian Arrows)

Tall and well built, this centre-back is expected to be a feature of the Indian national team in the coming years. As the skipper of Indian Arrows, Raju has led by setting an example with his non errorneous displays.
Raju went on to lead the Indian side which faced Myanmar in the Pre-Olympics qualifiers and also featured in the AFC Challenge Cup qualifiers. Raju Gaekwad has passed the tests with flying colours and is certainly one of the best finds this season.
Lester Fernandez (Pune FC)
His Days In Vasco Led Him To Pune
The young attacking midfielder of Pune FC has been one of the wonders to watch out for in this edition of the I-league. A former Tata Football Academy (TFA) product, Lester also had stints with Dempo and Vasco before joining Pune FC. Ever since Lester joined Pune FC under Derrick Pereira, the youngster has proved his worth in the big league and will be very well remembered for his equalizer against Mohun Bagan.
Gilbert Oliveria (Salgaocar SC)
Impressive Form By The Young Gun
20 year old Gilbert Oliveira from Goa is certainly the best advertisement for Salgaocar’s Youth Development programmes. It took something special for Gilbert to break into the main team and win the trust of coach Karim Bencherifa. His journey in the I-League has been magical as he started with a record of scoring the fastest goal ever in the country. His hard work has now taken his tally to 5 goals making him one of the top Indian goal scorers in the league so far.
Anil Kumar (Viva Kerala)
Though Anil Kumar has been in the circuit for quite a while now, as of today he is one of the hottest properties in Indian football. The 28 year old has scored eight goals so far which has seen his popularity grow in recent months.
