1. Futbol Mundial
Fulbol Mundial is a weekly football magazine show that is produced by TWI in cooperation with FIFA. This football show is broadcasted across the world every week and is a very informative watch on what goes around in the world of football.
2. Football Focus
Football Focus is a weekly TV programme aired on ESPN (India) during the course of the football season in Europe. Hosted by John Dykes and attended by the various ESPN football pundits, Football Focus (as the name suggests) focuses on football in Europe. It is, like most ESPN aired football shows, concentrates on the Premier League but at times it does graze Spanish football. During Champions League time, John Dykes and his boys also comment on the fortunes and misfortunes of the Premier League clubs in Europe's top-tier football competition.
3. First Edition
First Edition is a weekly round-up of what the various papers in England have to say about the major issues. Broadcasted on ESPN (India) every week, this show basically looks at the juiciest stories hitting the headlines in England; it is a very informative show that informs the Indian football following public about what has been going on in the English press.
4. Revista de La Liga
Revista de la Liga is broadcasted on Tuesday on Sky Sports and looks at the Spanish Primera Division games played over the weekend. The programme examines the major issues over the weekend in Spain and also features a top footballing figure related to Spanish football. Sky Sports' Spanish team give their expert views on the burning topics of Spanish football.
5. World Football Phone In
A radio programme on the BBC, World Football is one of the best football programmes one can ever come across. Unlike several English-language football shows, World Football explores the global game from a global perspective and gives the listener a clear idea of what is going on in football across the globe. It also has a phone-in service, which makes the programme a very enjoyable listening and participating.
6. Xtra Time
This football programme is aired on the Bengali channel 24 Ghanta and is a 30 minute show on sports news and features. It is aired everyday and mainly focuses on football, especially on Indian football. Xtra Time also gives coverage to international football and at times features Indian football experts to present their opinion on Indian football.
7. Khel @ 11
This football programme is aired at 11 pm IST everyday on Akash Bangla and does cover Indian football, but is more Kolkata football centric. It's a unique programme in which news of the Big Three clubs in Kolkata - Mohun Bagan, East Bengal and Mohammedan Sporting- are aired but each club's news is presented by a particular host. This brings the massive rivalry that exists among these clubs to the TV screen and makes the show much more interesting as the different hosts present their club's news with their own specialities and idiosyncrasies.
8. Football With Shubier
This football show is aired on Hayat TV and is available in Arabian nations. The programme is presented by former Egyptian goalkeeper Ahmad Shuber and is one of the biggest Arabic football programmes; they give full coverage to Arabic football and discuss the major issues of the time.
9. Sada al Mala'eb
This football programme is aired on MBC and is presented by Mostafa Agha. The programme covers all Arabic football issues as well as major international news with expert opinions on all those topics.
