Marcello Lippi: Italy Can Never Play Like Spain
The Italian coach feels his side cannot emulate Spain's attractive football...

Italy coach Marcello Lippi has revealed his side cannot play the sexy football displayed by Spain during the Confederations Cup, claiming it's down to a cultural aspect.
La Nazionale have not been too impressive so far in South Africa. They struggled against the USA on Monday, and they now face a solid Egypt side later tonight in their second Group B match.
Spain have been the most impressive side so far, scoring the most goals and being the first team to qualify for the semi-finals. Lippi feels his side cannot emulate La Furia Roja's style.
"We will be together for 25 days here and it's a pleasure, but we can never play like Spain, even if we trained for 10 hours a day," Lippi told Rai Sport.
"It's a question of culture and it's pinned in the squad. We can play good or bad, but we will always play with out hearts."
Lippi has also shown gratitude to the fans in South Africa for the incredible support the team has been receiving.
"I thank the fans for their support, but it's not nice when I read papers claiming that we do not return it."
