The Liberty Stadium outfit stalwart believes that the club will move for another striker to provide cover for Wilfried Bony and suggests the Getafe man is a targetSwansea midfielder Leon Britton has suggested that the Swans have more business to do in the transfer market, possibly for Getafe forward Alvaro Vazquez.
Goal exclusively revealed on Tuesday that the Welsh outfit have tabled a £2.5 million offer for the Spain Under-21 international, with a sale expected to be made by the end of the week.
And now the diminutive 30-year-old has hinted that the Swans are ready to wrap up a deal for the young striker.
"They've spoken about bringing in maybe another forward," he told Sky Sports News. I don't know if there's going to be players leaving but I'm sure the club's going to look to do some business before the end of the window.
"Maybe a forward to help out, because we've only got Wilfried Bony really as the main striker to back that up."
Swansea have dipped heavily into the Spanish market in recent times and appear poised to bring in an eighth player from the Iberian nation, much to Britton's approval.
"Yeah it has proven over the last four or five years that the Spanish market has been good for us.
"You've only got to look at Michu last year, so it has served us well. I can understand the gaffer knows the market very well.
"Maybe there has been a bid put in for one of the lads over there, so it'll be interesting to see what happens."
