The Uruguayan goalkeeper has sealed a two-year deal at the Artemio Franchi after a decade in Spain with Deportivo La Coruna, Malaga and LevanteFiorentina have sealed the signing of Gustavo Munua from Levante.
The Uruguayan has been at the Valencian club since 2010 but the Viola have brought him to Serie A on a two-year contract.
“Fiorentina announce the signing of the player Gustavo Munua,” an official club statement read.
“He has signed a contract which binds him to the club until June 30, 2015.”
The 35-year-old started his career in his home city of Montevideo with Nacional and first moved to Europe in 2003.
After six years at Deportivo La Coruna, he moved to Malaga for a single season in 2009 before moving to Levante in 2010.
