The former Porto forward has insisted he will move on in the summer saying he feels "it's not possible" for him to continue at LyonLisandro Lopez believes his time at Lyon is coming to an end and that could lead to renewed interest from clubs in Italy.
Lopez, 30, was the subject of intense speculation, with Juventus, Fiorentina and Roma all expected to be jostling for his signature if he becomes available in the summer.
Tottenham Hotspur are another side who may show interest, with manager Andre Villas-Boas rumoured to be a big fan.
“I don’t think it is possible for me to continue here,” he told Metro.
“Before the end of the season I’m going to meet with the president and the coach and we’ll see.”
The Argentine striker has been a productive player for Lyon since arriving from Porto in the summer of 2009.
His form this season has been below previous campaigns, however, Lopez has still bagged 10 goals in Ligue 1.
Lopez has seven caps for Argentina and has scored one goal for his national side. His contract with the French outfit expires in June 2014.
