thumbnail Hello,

The defender, currently on loan at Hamburg, would consider moving back to his homeland as he looks to become a regular for his national team

Chelsea loanee Jeffrey Bruma has revealed that he would consider moving back to the Netherlands to boost his international call-up chances.

The defender is currently on loan at Hamburg but has been linked with a number of Dutch clubs in the past couple of months.

"I'm in no hurry, keep everything open," the centre-back told reporters on Tuesday. "I think I only decide after the season. Returning to the Netherlands is an option that is certainly in my mind.

Bruma, who currently has four caps for the Dutch, is also confident that he can cement a place in the national set-up if he continues to play well.

"My chance with Netherlands will surely come, I am convinced," he continued. "Every career is different. When I have a great run of games and do not start on the bench, I have a good chance.

"Anyone who plays for Netherlands has earned it. If I do well at Hamburg then I will come naturally into the picture."
