Vidal: I would like Sanchez to join Juventus
The former Leverkusen star is relishing the prospect of potentially teaming up with his Chile team-mate at the Serie A champions
Arturo Vidal has made it clear that he would welcome Alexis Sanchez to the Juventus Stadium with open arms if he were to leave Barcelona. The versatile attacker has been struggling to find his best form at the Blaugrana this term and Goal.com exclusively revealed this month that the Italian champions are lining up a move for the Chilean.
And Vidal would love to play alongside his compatriot in Turin.
"I do not know whether Alexis will come to Juventus, but I would be pleased if he did," Vidal was quoted as saying by Tuttosport.
The midfielder also stressed that he has no intention to leave Juve any time soon, despite Bayern Munich's interest in the player.
"Can I promise the fans that I will stay at Juventus this summer? Yes, that's 100 per cent certain. I still have a contract for three more years."
Vidal joined Juventus from Bayer Leverkusen in the summer of 2011 and has since developed into a key player at the Bianconeri.
