Manchester United's Michael Keane extends Leicester loan
The 20-year-old defender has extended his deal until the end of the season, and Foxes boss Nigel Pearson is pleased the youngster will continue his development at the club
Manchester United defender Michael Keane has extended his loan spell with Leicester City until the end of the season.
The 20 year-old joined the Championship outfit in November, with the initial agreement lasting until the beginning of January, only to then delay his return to Old Trafford for a further three weeks.
However, after overcoming initial fitness concerns, Keane has made five appearances for Leicester in both league and cup competition, and boss Nigel Pearson is delighted that the youngster is to continue his development at the King Power Stadium.
"It's still a steep learning curve for he has done exceptionally well so far and I am very pleased," he told BBC Radio Leicester.
