Verratti does not regret joining PSG ahead of Juventus
The Italy international is enjoying life at the Ligue 1 powerhouse, and is not thinking about how a move to the Turin giants could have panned out
Marco Verratti has made it clear that he does not regret his decision to leave Pescara for Paris Saint-Germain in the summer transfer window rather than make the move to Juventus. The Serie A champions were eager to add the Italy international to their ranks, but eventually missed out on the 19-year-old as he preferred a transfer to the Ligue 1 giants.
"Juventus? I have made the decision to join Paris Saint-Germain and I'm very happy at this club. I have no regrets about my choice and it's already starting to pay off," Verratti told Sky Sport Italia.
"I am not thinking about what could have been had I made a different choice. I'm focused on the here and now. I'm enjoying my stay at Paris and I'm happy to give my all for the club.
"I am very happy with [Zlatan] Ibrahimovic's compliments. He's helping me on a daily basis and gives a lot of good advice."
Verratti has a contract with PSG until the summer of 2017.
